Vivian Bluth
D.A.R.E. America Youth Advocacy Board Member from Oklahoma

I am currently a sophomore. I am a busy girl. Some of the great activities I partake in are STUCO, Key Club, Choir, and Volleyball. I am also enrolled in many Honors programs. Over the summer I spent a lot of my time playing and practicing Volleyball, but when I had the chance I would go down to my local food and resource center to volunteer. I also love to go on Sundays after church out to the tennis court and play pickleball, one of my new favorite sports. I love to keep myself busy.
I remember the first time i was introduced to D.A.R.E. I was in elementary school and my D.A.R.E. Officer showed us to say no to drugs. I remember he even gave us fun activities to do to get us excited. I have the best memories of learning about D.A.R.E. and I’m excited to give other kids the same opportunity. I was introduced to this position at the end of my freshman year. I am so excited to be able to add my own twang to this program and so thankful that my D.A.R.E. officer thought of choosing me to represent Oklahoma.
My goals are to introduce this program to the youth in a fun and exciting way. I want kids to be excited to learn instead of being forced to. I want to add my own flair and pizzazz. I was influenced by how my D.A.R.E. officer taught me and I want other kids to have that same experience. I want everyone to have an equal chance at learning, because everyone deserves to learn about this amazing program.
Last thing I would like to say is thank you to everyone who has helped me and supported me. Sometimes I can be a real handful and I might not be the best at everything, but I will always try my hardest. I am very thankful for my parents, siblings, teachers, D.A.R.E officers, and Jacqueline.
I’m so excited to work with everyone on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board. Thank you for everyone’s support and help. I cannot wait for this great time with everyone.
My name is Vivian Bluth but you can just call me Viva. I am so happy to represent Oklahoma on the Youth Advocacy Board. I’m excited to bring some of the country with me wherever I go. I attend Weatherford High school in Western Oklahoma. I am ready to show the world what I am made of.
